Geo-Ed presentations are structured such that each session commences with a short introduction, has a large period of focused interaction with the various collections and ample time for reflective conclusion.

A Unique Range of Resources

We have a range of resources that stimulate learning and encourage direct questioning of our physical and man-made world at all age levels including adults.

The resources that we can bring into a school reflect the mineral diversity of Western Australia but also encompass a wide range of rocks and minerals and fossils from other localities within Australia and the World.

Geo-Ed's resources shown in our presentations and displays are the sources for many of the items used today in modern society .

Stimulating & Interesting Presentations

Our presentations are delivered by our qualified Teacher / Geologist.

We have developed a range of presentations across a wide range of age groups, focussing on the interests of primary school students.

Geo-Ed however, will never limit itself to presentations that it has currently developed.

Teachers are encouraged to contact Geo-Ed to discuss with Geo-Ed the development of unique presentations to enhance their classrooms teaching and learning experiences.

Geo–Ed's Team Members:

• Linda Greenaway- Linda is the Geo-Ed presenter and has developed many of our presentations. Linda is a Geologist with over 15 years experience in the WA Minerals Exploration Industry and has recently qualified as a primary teacher.

• Bryan Lillis- Bryan is the Education Consultant to Geo-Ed. Bryan is a retired Primary School Principal with over 35 years teaching experience.

• Wayne Parkey-Wayne is responsible for Geo Ed Management, Engineering and Logistics support & assists with Geo-Ed collection development. Wayne is a Geographer with 20 years experience within the WA Minerals Exploration Industry.

• Kelvin Fox-Kelvin is the ideas person for Geo-Ed & is responsible for collating, maintaining and growing the Geo Ed Resource Collection. Kelvin is Geologist with 21 years experience in the WA Minerals Exploration Industry and more recently has become a qualified primary school teacher.

• Melanie Fox- Melanie is Geo Ed's Administrator. Also Melanie is presently studying Primary Teacher Education @ Murdoch University.

• Kurtis Fox - Kurtis is Geo-Ed's Webpage designer, who has developed and now maintains this website. Kurtis (15) is a student @ Frederick Irwin Anglican School.

All Geo-Ed Teachers are WACOT registered and hold Working with Children Certification.
