Western Australian Curriculum

Our Geo-Ed Educational Consultant has reviewed the current Western Australian Year - 7 and Years 8-10 Curriculum, for areas where Geo-Ed can enhance or support student learning.

When the rollout of the National Educational Curriculum is complete Geo-Ed will assess this Curriculum so as to indicate where it can support teacher planning.

Geo-Ed Presentations have been prepared using cross curricular activities and focusing on hands –on- learning. 

Years One to Seven

• Highlighted Year Level Statements in the current DET WA K-7 Curriculum Overviews show where Geo-Ed links into
  Science
  Society and Environment
  Mathematics
  Technology and Enterprise Learning Areas

• English – Reading, Speaking & Writing skills are also fostered in each of Geo-Ed’s planned Before Visit, Presentation and Post Visit activities.

Middle School

• Middle School Years 8, 9 & 10 links
• English – Reading, Speaking & Writing skills are also fostered in each of Geo-Ed’s planned Before Visit, Presentation and Post Visit activities
